Plasma donation from recovered COVID-19 patients

In research of U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), the Red Cross seeking people who are fully recovered from COVID-19 can help the corona patient.

Person who is fully recovered from COVID-19 have antibodies in their plasma that can attack the corona virus. This plasma treatment is serious treatment to help and save life of the people who are suffering from this virus.

Who can donate ?

You may qualify to donate plasma for COVID-19 patients if you meet specific convalescent plasma and regular blood donation eligibility and requirements :-

  • You are at least 17y old and your weight should be 45.
  • You should be in good health. You generally feel well. If your any treatment is going on like people who have Sugar, cholesterol, cancer or any disease and you treatment is going on then you can’t donate your plasma and you are not eligible.
  • Have a prior, verified diagnosis of COVID-19, but are now symptom free and are fully recovered.

If you are fully recovered from a new corona virus and meet the above criteria than please go through your near hospitals and contact there.
